Studies
Your place, your visa
A student stay lets you live in Spain while you complete higher education, upper-secondary studies, a student mobility program or other training activities. For higher education, the permit lasts as long as the official program.
You can apply for the visa at the Spanish consulate with jurisdiction over your place of residence in the US or Canada or, if you are already in Spain legally, from here. In both cases, apply at least two months in advance.
